Michael Wilson grew up surrounded by all the things any boy in Canada would want; baseball, video games, the internet, and a family that loved him. He was involved in Little League, Scouts Canada, and genuinely liked growing up in Goodwin Falls, but when he went off to study computer science in college, only one thing was missing. And now, in his late twenties, he’s back home and still can’t find it. A girlfriend. Not because of some big heartbreak or a jaded outlook on love, it's just never happened. Even if it was the one thing he wanted more than anything else.
Meanwhile, Thomas Cooper has been in a relationship since he was fifteen. On the outside, he had it all. He got perfect grades, played varsity baseball in high school, even lived three doors down from his girlfriend. It wasn’t until his master’s degree that he started to question what he really wanted, jump started by a campfire, a guitar, and the possibility of what true happiness could look like. A broken engagement and a four hour drive later, he found himself revitalizing a locally owned flower shop called Goodwin Floral. The rest, well, the rest he’ll figure out as he goes.
Through the power of authentic and genuine friendship, both Michael and Thomas are able to find parts of themselves they’ve hidden away their entire lives. Love looks different for everyone. This is only the beginning of what love can look like for the two of them.
